A green field development delivered on time and on budget for the Horowhenua District Council and HNZC, these 40 new units were commissioned to help accommodate the forecasted increase in pensioners requiring social housing in the district in the future. All infrastructure, roading and unit construction was provided with ongoing landscaping services until all greenery is established. This project was commended by the Hon Phil Heatly on its official opening for its peaceful park-like setting and being of a standard that the new residents could be proud of. This was a challenging project with at any time 7 new units being under construction, in addition to 12 existing units being refurbished as part of a separate contract for HDC at the same time.
